ACEPAREN 5446 - 20KG

After manufacturing, insulating glass units are stored and transported on frames. In this case, the sealant used often sticks onto frames. In order to prevent this problem unsuitable products (e.g. silicon oil) are used up to now. However, even new problems often arise as a result. For instance, due to silicon oil the insulating glass units might slip off during transportation. In addition, severe sealing problems might come across while mounting the glass (the sealant mass does not stick in places soiled with silicone). Complaints can be the result. Therefore, Aceparen 5446 was created as a product for the insulating glass industry which does not show these disadvantages. Aceparen 5446 contains neither silicon oil nor mineral oil nor wax. With the aid of Aceparen 5446, warehouse and transportation frames remain clean, in particular during regular application. According to previous finding, the stability of the glass towards transportation is not affected. Aceparen 5446 prevents additionally also the sticking of sealants on other surfaces (metal, plastic, lacquered surfaces) and may therefore also serve as a protection for the outside of sealants machines.

Aceparen 5446 is put undiluted with aid of a sponge, foam, pencil or spray gun. Single slats are preferably dipped for 30 minutes. For application on polysulphide the product can be used after a drying time of 1 hour. For sealants based on polyurethane or silicone the drying time should be min. 4 hours (preferably drying overnight). Depending on used material the application should be repeated especially when using silicone based sealants. In addition, Aceparen 5446 can be used for smoothing sealants (PS, PU, Silicone), among other purposes such as during the installation of insulating glass, the manufacture of Aceparen 5446 page 2 of 2 panes of glass, and the sealing of glass roofs, or similar purposes. We recommend a use concentration of 0.5 - 1 %.

In the case of woods with great sucking property, processing is to be repeated at the beginning at short distances. With ebonite, rubbers and plastics a repetition is required depending on load. During proper application Aceparen 5446 to our experience does not influence adversely the bonding while mounting the insulating glass units. Aceparen 5446 can be washed off with water easily. It does not attack rubber and plastics.
