Acedet 5509 is a neutral, non-ionic product in particular for use in insulating glass industry. It does not attack soft coated glass. During proper application it has no negative effect on the subsequent sealing.
Further areas of application are washing before laminated glass production as well as before coating and tempering. Post-connected refinement processes during proper application are also not influenced.
Acedet 5509 can also be used to clean transport rolls of the tempering oven.
At the recommended application temperatures (40 - 60 °C) the product is virtually foam-free.
On account of its non-ionic composition Acedet 5509 has no negative effect on ion exchange systems. Its detergency, on the other hand, is not decreased by the ion exchanger. It also can be used on one-cycle washing machines.

When applying Acedet 5509 for the first time, please note that first of all the detergent cleans the washing machine. Therefore, the washing machine has to be rinsed with Acedet 5509 until it is completely clean. To our experience, this will take approx. half an hour. After disposing of the soiled detergent solution, the washing machine is rinsed thoroughly and then refilled with water. Depending on the degree of pollution and/or mechanics of the washing machine up to 4 g Acedet 5509/l are added then.

Stored in well-closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf life of Acedet 5509 is 1 year.
